Please tell me how Ford is pretending to be something it's not?? The F150 is capable of everything it's rated for just like the Dodge 1/2 tons(not much). I give Ford mad props for building such a capable 1/2 ton! :B I think those diesel fumes are starting to affect your judgment if you think the Eco wont come close to the 3.0 diesel. I'm sure the mpg will be better than the Eco but i doubt you will see 30+mpg. Performance wise i don't think it will compare to the Eco and since Dodge doesn't even come close to the same payload and tow ratings i guess we will never know.
Being such a Dodge Fanboy it must get your undies in a bunch knowing that Cummins is making a 5.0 V8 diesel(350hp/550lb/ft) for Nissan.:S
Can't really complain though because if it wasn't for Cummins Dodge Ram probably wouldn't be in production today...
