But wouldn't the perfect truck for a lot of people be one that gets great MPG while empty and also tows well?

We have two daily driver cars and an Expedition for towing. I don't care about towing MPG becasue that's part of the recreation cost.

But if that truck could get 20+ empty I would ditch one of the daily drivers.

I think that would fit the bill for a lot of people.
