The part you ssssoooo conveniently left out!
From day one WWWAAAYYY back in 2003 I have said this Heavy half BS is just that BS. Ram even says on it's web site (I posted it before) that the 1500 is not intended for RV towing. From Rams web site "Light Duty for towing boats, ATV's and trailers. Heavy Duty for towing horses, RV's and about everything else"
I give Ram mad props for NOT pretending to be something its not.

On edit the EB won't even come close to the 2014 Ram 3.0 V6 diesel, 30 something MPG :E Eco that Ford! :W
Please tell me how Ford is pretending to be something it's not?? The F150 is capable of everything it's rated for just like the Dodge 1/2 tons(not much). I give Ford mad props for building such a capable 1/2 ton! :B I think those diesel fumes are starting to affect your judgment if you think the Eco wont come close to the 3.0 diesel. I'm sure the mpg will be better than the Eco but i doubt you will see 30+mpg. Performance wise i don't think it will compare to the Eco and since Dodge doesn't even come close to the same payload and tow ratings i guess we will never know.
Being such a Dodge Fanboy it must get your undies in a bunch knowing that Cummins is making a 5.0 V8 diesel(350hp/550lb/ft) for Nissan.:S No not in the least, you can look up what I have posted about it. But then that wouldn't fit in with your agenda right? BTW I have never hide my "fan boy status" I owned losts of Ford and every one let me down (more accurately every Ford dealer let me down)
Can't really complain though because if it wasn't for Cummins Dodge Ram probably wouldn't be in production today...your story bro.
Some of you are really slow aren't you? For the slow kids, The F-150 and GM HD 1500 are NOT 1/2 ton trucks! They are nearing the 250/2500 numbers but without the frame. Do they tow 7K trailers well yes, but the guys that are towing 12K 34' and better trailers are are asking for truble. There is more to towing SAFELY then being able to RACE up a freaking hill faster then the other guy. Read my comment again then think about it. When you get a the UPPER LIMIT of your towing capacity you are at risk of not only sway but being flipped on your side from wind shear.
As far as the 3.0 VM diesel they rate it at 28 MPG combined (city and highway) in the Ram, Grand Cherokee CLICKY LINK SCROLL 1/2 WAY DOWN so that should put the highway at 30 MPG right? At any rate even 28 MPG is a whole lot better then the EB!
