The towing and passing numbers paint the more accurate picture of horsepower. (It isn't a race car right?haha) Getting to 60 is very much about usable horsepower and gearing. 420ft/lbs and an 8 speed trans are a pretty damn good combo for low speed launch. It does seem as though all the numbers are rather optimistic, across the board in this article.
