Another vote for don't be intimidated. I have a Silverado 1500, 3:42 rear, 5.3 engine that I pull a 6800lb. trailer with. We did the big circle tour and never had a issue...as long as you stay on a major interstate or secondary rd. you should not have anything you can't handle. Patience is in order and learn about using your gearing for both up hill and down. Go and enjoy this beautiful country we live in.
