Mounting Kayak

I have been trying to figure out the best way to carry my kayak, and wondered why not mount it to the outside of the TC jacks? After much googling and searching on here I can't find anyone else that has done it, so I thought there must be a reason. My rig would only be 100" wide with kayak mounted, so good there. What am i missing?

That photo looks horrible and the rig should and is not allowed on the roads. I have enough issue driving an 8' wide camper on multilane highways with trucks on both sides. You need to get a trailer to accommodate those kayaks.

Take a chill pill JimK. As I said, and Reality Check pointed out, I don't travel on the road with the kayaks like that.

I DO now have a trailer and don't even roll with jacks on anymore, so no kayaks hanging off the jacks.

Thanks!! One of my next questions was going to be "Do we HAVE to bring our jacks along?" Obviously, the answer is no - and that looks really nice!
