Mounting Kayak

I have been trying to figure out the best way to carry my kayak, and wondered why not mount it to the outside of the TC jacks? After much googling and searching on here I can't find anyone else that has done it, so I thought there must be a reason. My rig would only be 100" wide with kayak mounted, so good there. What am i missing?

It would really create a large blind spot in the mirrors for one, and unless you padded everything securely it would rub the paint and the kayaks hull

I've carried 2 SOT Kayaks IN the camper and after arriving at the beach I would carry them strapped to the jacks. Worked well at slow speeds. Not sure if I would want to run it like that at highway speeds.
