We went from 40' conversion to 11' TC, but our boys moved out, so now there are 2 of us and 3 small dogs.
I bought luxury TC and it come with factory generator.
Hate that thing as not only it is loud, propane sucker, but is mounted in the rear, what moves center of gravity.
But if you buy form the lot, I don't think you have a choice of getting big TC without one. Perfect for me would be storage bay for dry food and Honda 2000 or similar inside truck cabin on on front bumper for rare occasions.
Also do your homework on duallies. Those with CC and standard bed do have lighter suspension. Probably good for average camper, but might not be good for all the extra you are planning.
My truck is originally cab & chassis, what came with 11 leaf sprigs. I yet have to feel need for suspension upgrade and set my camper 1 foot to the rear to gain storage space behind the cabin.
Standard dually suspension is much lighter and likely you might need additional support.
