moving on up
We've been using a popup for years and now that the kids are grown it's time for some more creature comforts. I'm new to this whole travel trailer thing and have a boatload of questions. I've searched...

Same for relatively light weight pots, pans, utensils, etc. We did not have to buy very much to stock the TT, and I LOVE not having to use a cooler anymore! We do not keep any cast iron in the TT nor did we the pup. We will occasionally take a CI pan if a recipe warrants it, but we leave heavy things home whenever possible.
That you had a pup puts you in a better position than most as far as carrying weight goes. IF like us you had everything you needed in the pup. You can put it in the TT and add very little to the ready to camp weight.
With the pup EVERYTHING we had / have is light weight, and compact. It had to be. Not a lot of carrying Capacity in a pup. Carry the same stuff, and you will be golden. Think about it. If you didn't need it with the pup, You don't need it now. Only thing more you will need in the TT is a sewer hose, and a couple more leveling blocks. In fact you may need LESS stuff. Like a cooler. We no longer carry a big cooler. With the fridge, it is not needed....
