Signed the deal today for a factory order of a Keystone Outback Terrain 250TRS. Not sure if it will be delivered as 2014 or 2015 yet. We purchased our HTT 9 years ago and this forum has been a great asset. We will miss the HTT but it's time to move on. I am going to sell the HTT on my own due to the low trade in offer. I have kept the HTT in great shape and believe it will sell quick.Our new unit has the rear King slide bed so it is still an "expandable" but not a hybrid depending on who you ask! Not our unit but same model

Nice looking rig, hope you build as many great memories as you did with your Hybrid TT. All the slides are hard-sided thus it's a TT, not sure why someone would deem it a HTT. Love that rear slideout, if we ever purchase another rig it will definitely have a king bed. Happy Camping!!!

Welcome to the "dark side," Gaffer! You will love the change - we sure have (we've been in a TT for 6 years now, twice as long as we had our HTT.) Looks like a nice unit. Enjoy!

Congratulations! Outback makes an great trailer. We had our first HTT for 10 years, and now we have our second HTT. Everyone has their preferences, and that's what makes it fun.

Gaffer, we also purchased our 250TRS following our ever-so-brief life with our Aerolite 174es HTT. As much as we liked the HTT, it was just the wrong fit for us as a family. I highly recommend HTTs and think they make a great option for families who really want to experience the best of both the tent and trailer worlds. We are taking ours out again this weeked to the beach...that is something we wouldn't have really attempted with our HTT during the cold and rain. The TT opens us up to camping at times we wouldn't have considered and that is its greatest benefit (besides the space we have in the 250TRS).

Welcome to the Dark side! You will love the new trailer, it is the exact same layout as our Kodiak. You are still part of a unique club with the rear slide ;)

As for someones comment about the rear slide being cold, we have not found that at all, not compared to the HTT.

Just spoke with the Keystone Rep and he said my Terrain should come of the line on 6-12-14. Dealer says they will setup special arrangements for shipping as we placed the order on 3-27-14.

Yep, know what you mean on several accounts - We moved to the "dark side" last Fall after 5 years with a Roo 23SS. Loved the Roo, but setting things up was going to be a hassle if something happened to me, then the DW wouldn't be able to close the bunk ends. I sold our HTT for over $2K more than the dealer was willing to give for trade-in. And yes, it sold pretty quick. If people see you have a quality product, they appreciate it more.

Congrats for sure. I would be doing the same if we could only tow the aditional weight. Won't you miss unfolding the bunks, drying thyem out after a wet weekend, listening to your neighbors, wondering if anyone is entering your rig in your absense through a bunk end. Probley not. Happy Trails

yea, they just don't make rear hard slide trailers designed for 2 people, they're all designed for families.

how putting in a couple of recliners or recliner sofa and a roomier bathroom.
you could do this by ditching the bunks and no u-dinette since two people wouldn't need all that.

Understood. I would pay more for the ability to customize the floorplan of a TT if that were an option. The 250TRS actually has quite a large living area with the two slides out. For us we have room for all six of us and we are not falling all over each other as we were in the HTT.
