Well we've got a 2010 Ram 2500, 5.7 Hemi, with 3;73 gears, and a topper shell--towing a 9000 lb. 27 ft. travel trailer. Empty mileage is 15 to 17 mpg in summer, at 70 mph, street tires, equal hills and flats. Towing over 14,000 miles in the Western U.S. I average 8.6 mpg at 60 mph. Winter gas drops mpg by 2-3 mpg with studded snow tires.
