Hope you don't think buying a Ford or GM will solve your rust problems!
Actually, buying a Ford would, in fact, solve the rust problem. The aluminum body doesn't rust (or so I've been duly-informed by the corrosion protection engineering manager). It may oxidize or corrode, but it does not rust. ;) Rust is, by definition, oxidation of a ferrous material.
Was referring to the pre-aluminum bodies, but yep no rust with the new bodies, just oxidation and corrosion. Think back to the GM's with the bumpers that would fall off from them no placing a plastic shim between the aluminum bumper reinforcement and steel mounting bracket.
