MPG with late model Ram 3500 with 4:10 carrying TC.

I’m tempted by some great deals on new Rams. Primarily used to carry a larger TC to travel. I can get a 2018 Ram 3500 DRW Laramie 4x4 with Aisin trans for just under $52k. That’s a little over $16k...

It is amazing that anyone would think that $52k is a good deal.
You can always run in a lower gear when you are loaded, but you can't change the axle ration when you are empty. I would stay with the standard rear end ratio instead of 4:10s.
