Yeah you can.
You can do what I did and put in a Gear Vendors overdrive.
I’ve got 4.10s, and at the touch of a button I’ve got 3.20 gearing.
It’s awesome. With the OD on, 60 MPH is only 1500 rpm. Great for cruising when not super heavy.
When heavy, the 4.10s work a lot better.
This is on a older model Cummins, but it’s modded and makes as much power as a new one. (Actually more if I really turn it up).
You can have your cake and eat it too.
