Oct 03, 2017Over the years I've been using Murphy's Oil Soap on more and more things. It's starting to become my go to soap. I've washed just about everything including trailers and vehicles without any ill effects. You can't beat the smell it leaves behind. It's been a good substitute for cleaners that have harsher ingredients. It's nice because once you're done with your wash bucket then you can dump what's left out on the grass without having to worry about killing it or adding chemicals to the soil.
One of the base ingredients of the soap is pine oil, but the oil is converted into soap. After it's made into soap there's no oil to leave behind. If diluted according to the bottle then Murphy's won't leave anything behind except a nice smell. If the concentration is on the heavier side then it can leave a slight slippery film, but the film definitely does not attract dirt.
