Another Dumbo here. Been using Murphy’s for many, many years on lots of things. Still have most of my hair and my bones aren’t visible. My roof manufacturer also recommends it.
Maybe a review of the pH scale is in order.
Also, it’s impolite and rude to call people names.

Us Dumbos have heard of lye and lye soap. We have also heard of Coca-Cola which will do the same thing and remove rust.

The point is, both Murphy's and Coke are fine products when used as directed.

I've used Murphy's on both fiberglass and aluminum. According to the Vinyl Siding Institute Murphy's Oil Soap is a recommended vinyl siding cleaner.

I called Alpha Systems when I got my trailer to specifically ask what to use on the TPO roof. They recommended Murphy's Oil Soap.
