I was going to get into this...but after typing for 15 minutes, I realized that no amount of trying to persuade you to listen to what everyone else said in the last 9 pages will work.
I understand your ethics and all...but you have to look at life. This is 2017 not 1967. Nowadays, people don't do deals with a handshake and a smile. Regardless of what the stock market and Washington says, people are still financially getting over the last big Recession...and some are still floundering in the waves. Expecting a buyer to fall out of the sky with a pocket full of hundreds is nice, but probably not going to happen in the time frame you are expecting for what you are selling.
Stating that you want Cash Only, and then getting upset when a potential buyer shows up, looks it over, and then says I have to get with the bank, or get a loan, etc tells me that you are not looking at this realistically.
I wish you luck...I really do. But unless you can either come down on the price or take the Cash Only thing off (if they want it bad enough, they can go get the cash) you are going to get a lot of bites, but no fish.
****, and I said I wasn't going to get into this...oh well...such is life.
Please don't get me wrong, I have heard everything said. I feel some people have not heard what I have said though. I am willing to sell it for way less then $6,000. That is just the starting point. I would take $4500 cash in a heartbeat. The problem is not the price. The problem is that nobody has any money at any price. That is the problem. I could lower it to $2000 and I would still have the same problem.
People are broke, I get that, but that is their fault, not mine. These people that work ing the oil field or on the wind power farms have money flowing out their nose. They make $25 to $40 an hour. They just blow their money. They could save two pay checks and have the cash to buy this trailer without breaking a sweat. My annual income is way less then 20K. Only a couple years in my life have I ever made more then 20k in a year. Yet, I am debt free, own three houses, and just paid $15K cash for my new 2011 Silverado 2500HD. How can I do this? Because I refuse to go into debt. I have no debt, so any extra over daily needs is mine to save or spend. I choose to save. And I save until I have the money to buy what I want. It is that simple.
My point is this. There is plenty of money out there and people who have it. But irresponsible people that do not know how to budget are in the majority these days. I understand that. And I am not saying I will not sell to them either. I have told everyone of them that they can have the trailer as soon as they put the money in my hand. All they have to do is go get their loan and come back with the money. Why is that too much for me to ask? Please tell me? And before you say they might be afraid of me selling it, well, all they have to do is offer a deposit, but none of them have.
I have listened to you, but have you listened to me?
