Then you need to look at how its adjusted, meaning you need to hit the scales. I have a feeling you have weak WDH bars of 1000lbs or less.
On top of that, you may need LT tires to help stabilize the truck in high winds as well. They really make a difference, even with the Hensley and I tow all over the nation with an SUV much shorter than your truck and the trailer is 32' long.
Spot on. I talked about how to & why to scales earlier in this thread but it was likely read over.
Edit Beh confused this with another of his threads. Still Ricon is spot on. The other likely thing is if you were simply trying to tow in unacceptable wind where any otherwise acceptable even HD truck would pull over get some lunch whatever and wait it out.
