I am just wondering how it would work out for the dump truck driver if traffic increased and people filled in the spots around him. He might find himself trapped for several hours. And there was plenty of parking around the pickup so what harm was done if he wasn't staying there very long? At least he didn't park like that up front.
I do agree with others though that Prius drivers seem to be some of the worst drivers around. I drove my RV to Yellowstone and it seemed that at most of the pulloffs there were Prius's in the RV spots even though in most cases there was plenty of car spaces available.
