My 350/3500 is just too big to fit between the lines!

I was waiting for DW to do shopping, and I was with Belle the Beagle in the truck in the Fred Meyer/Kroger parking lot when I watched a guy come in in a loaded large capacity dump truck, he pulled in and acted like he was going to take about six to eight spots to park. Well he was just waiting for a car to move, he swing forward and then backed into two spots, the rig was really long!

It was then I noticed the CC long bed directly in front of me that doesn't seem to be quite as skilled getting their rig between the lines!

Rarely see that with an SRW. But not unusual for DRWs in tight parking lots.

Some of these parking lots are not laid out with HD trucks in mind, I think they are thinking more on the line of Prius. So I have no compunction about taking up two spaces. Trying to fit in one leaves about a foot on each side of the truck, not enough to open the doors. I do try to park in the outer reaches of the lot tho.

It may not have been the driver's inability to park. Often, someone is parked crooked when you pull up and you have to park crooked to fit in the spot. Then the first vehicle leaves and it looks like you can't park.

One was an experienced courteous driver, the other was just a self-centered idiot.
