My 6.0 actually has a little problem (Rollingrock) UPDATED

I made it this far without a hicup.....LOL While pulling the 5er home this past camping trip, my Edge Insight alarm went off and it was flashing coolant temp (ECT) 228 degrees. I obviously go...

the first thing i'd do is upgrade the egr cooler from one with fins to one with tubes. This is one major issue with the 6.0. The fins break off and then plug the system up leading to major failure
