My 6.0 actually has a little problem (Rollingrock) UPDATED

I made it this far without a hicup.....LOL While pulling the 5er home this past camping trip, my Edge Insight alarm went off and it was flashing coolant temp (ECT) 228 degrees. I obviously go...

Not hearing the fan kick on is troublesome, but the EOT and ECT being that close (5 degrees in your above post) is more of a worry to me. If the coolant flow needed to open the thermostat has to travel through the oil cooler before getting to the thermostat, then I would be looking at the cooler.
