this thread is making me rethink the 05 PSD I have been eyeing.
Of course it it up to you if you buy it, if the previous owner has already replaced the oil cooler and EGR, and added a ScanGauge II or other gauge set, and replaced the TTY head bolts with head STUDS like it should have came with in the first place, your chances for catastrophic failure are much reduced. The TorqueShift automatic that comes with these trucks is every bit the equal to the Allison transmission, the interior legroom and seating is more comfortable in the Ford, and I had no qualms at all about putting the money in to fix what broke and eliminate the parts that were prone to failure.
Almost bought a home in Sequatchie before my wife and I bought our home on the mountain above Tate Cove. Wife works at the dog groomer next to Lodge's outlet store in South Pittsburg.
