As others have mentioned, practice, practice, practice. Many of us learned with a variety of farm and construction equipment over many years. I often travel alone, so prefer to not depend on someone else to guide me, even if it means getting out for a look now and then. Hitch doesn't matter, but different length tow vehicles and trailers do affect the steering input required.
