I am sorry your trip didn't go as planned, and further sorry you lost your mom. You never know when the grim reaper is going to strike, usually at the most inopportune times, as you found out.
Jeanie's mom will be 101 in October, so every single day is a day of vigilance for us. But at least we still have our mom. I say 'our' as she is now everyone's mom. She has completely outlived every single one of her contemporaries, and many of the next generation. Born Oct. 24th, 1916.
