Happened to us in Oregon but with our toad. We disconnected, drove to Auto Parts store, bought a new 7-pin, spliced it to our cable, and have been good to go every since - about 6 thousand miles so far.
Took maybe 15 minutes after we had the parts and tools. Much cheaper to do it yourself.
