Original ----looks like the top 90* was just flat against outside wall and then 'draft air pulled it up/out top sidewall vent cover
Now line is just cut off flush with side wall so grey tank vents into fridge cabinet lower then original

Yeah, I looked at that for a long time before electing to cut it off. The end of the original just rested against the inside wall of the refrigerator cutout and never vented through to the outside of the camper wall. I guess they figured that the refer opening vented to outside and no need to pierce the wall one more time. Best I could figure the upward bend was to bring the vent opening to well above the top of the sink?? Cutting it where I did still leaves it about mid high on the sink level which should be fine. When grey tank is full it begins backing up in the shower first - ask me how I know. If I find it necessary to raise it, I'll make a custom, flat tube to attach to what's left and raise it the 5" or so. I think it will be fine.
