How does the cost, quality, space, etc compare between your new fridge and a comparable size compressor Norcold? Thinking about upgrading my Tundra -- someday, maybe.
Cost was about equal - around $950 for both +-. Quality seems a tad better on the Isotherm but time will tell. Size == huge difference, outside dimensions = Isotherm 3/16" wider, slightly shorter, much deeper but easily fits in the Apex 8 with all the original insulation intact. Inside volume Norcold N-300 = 2.7 Cu. Ft. and Isotherm C130 = 4.6 Cu. Ft. -- 60% more volume inside. Freezer very slightly larger on the Isotherm (looks smaller due to orientation).
