I had a 2000 yukon 3.73 4sp 5.3 and my 5k tt felt pretty maxed. Given the power increase and the 6spd i would say 6k loaded would be a good max. You still only have 116' wb. Thats a short truck to have a big leaver acting on it. I just switched to a 157' wb truck and the same trailer and the stability is much better and i thought the yukon was ok.
If your coming from a fifth you might not like the action of a short truck longish trailer.
