At least not in the first few weeks. I have owned many trailers and this new Jayco 154 BH seems to be put together better than any of the Forest River or Fleetwood trailers that I have owned in the past. It is a very simple, no slide unit which eliminates that potential problem and Jayco apparently knows how to attach aluminum to wood correctly. The fit and finish inside has less loose screws and misaligned pieces than I have put up with in the Rockwood, an Palomino creations.I am keeping my 28' unit for longer stays but really enjoy the easy towing and great fuel mileage of the tiny trailer.

Congrats on your new little one...I am seeing smaller size trailers a lot, out on the road. Basic necessities is all we need for getaways. Glad you are so pleased with it.

Jayco sold out to Thor. The Jayco brand is not going away, more than likely just some of the quality will.

I'm happy that you are having a good experience with your trailer... Nothing like heading out on an adventure with the feeling that you purchased something reliable. There are good units out there still... Hopefully our next trailer is one of the good ones, not like the horrible **** we currently own.
There is nothing more disappointing than buying a lemon.

Saying something positive on here is about like asking about the weather. A few will agree, a few don't care, and a few are going to find fault no matter what.

The point, which most missed, is that a small trailer is less likely to have as many problems as the larger more complex units. I go traveling to enjoy the travel. If a company cannot build a simple rectangular box and install the basic amenities properly, then I do not want their bigger models.

Love my Jay Flight 26BH. Fit and finish, and build quality is excellent. Unlike my previous Forest River Rockwood Pop Up which spent more time in the shop than the campground and why I traded it only after only a year of ownership.

So I guess you found a trailer with high quality tires, bearings, balanced hubs, spring shackles and spring bushings? I started at ground level, if everything checks out, then I'm sure the rest is perfect.

DW & I agree the best trailer we had was our '05 Starcraft hybrid.
The Thor Heartland wasn't bad either.
New GD? That's another story.

We are finishing up 7 out of the last 12 months traveling, right at pulling the trailer 8,000 miles. Its a 2008 22 foot fun finder. The problems we have had, zero. The decals are starting to show there age but everything thing else is working like day one. Have we had screws back out, yep, lights quit working, yep but nothing that doesn't happen in our home. Would I buy another fun finder, yep I would.

We're on our third Jayco for good reasons. All three have been virtually trouble free. We've had our current 2017 Jayflight since May. We're about to head out for our fourth trip in it next week. So far no new car bugs.

Every brand can have a bad unit but Jayco is generally pretty solid. So the OP does not suprise me. Our X20E is 3rd Jayco we've bought new. The first was a '93 popup sold when it was 10 years old. Second was an '03 Kiwi 17a hybrid that we traded at 10 years old. All have been solid well built units. Yes, some loose screws and inside trim that wasn't glued down. But never anything major.
