Interesting problem.
I looked it up, and the 35's are only a little bit bigger than the stock tires - at 32". I strongly believe in keeping things simple. Bought a new trailer that I thought didn't row well, turned out after all my complicated messing about that my truck tires were all at different pressures. Don't always trust a digital pressure gauge.
Why not get your numbers, carefully check all tire pressures, check alignments and steering components and work through ruling issues out.
Write a list of potential issues and cross each off as you rule it out.
By the same token, I know 2 friends who have had poor towing experiences with older Dutchmen TT's.
Go over the basics and see where that leads.
