A picture is worth a thousand words. Pic of the combo hooked up, plus pics of your WDH would be great.

This is without WDH because I was just moving it around the back of the ranch for a quick "camping trip". No rack, air bags, and not really loaded either.
This is the day I brought it home. Very little weight on the bars, a very loaded truck, & an unloaded trailer.

Loaded truck and 8 psi in the bags.

I have one on each side. I've tried them right and lose. (Don't go too tight, you really get an over steering situation)

here is my WDH and I have 1000 pound bars, which I think is alot. My old hitch and bars were 800 lb.
So an interesting point on these POS Dodge hitches, they are not rated for much without the WDH. I don't crank the bars too much because it does not handle well, and like others have said, the 3/4 ton can handle the rear weight. But I have to have the bars to tow.
The tires came in the duck from the dealership, and I have towed heavier trailers and other travel trailers without any problems for over 5 years. So I don't feel like they are the problem, but I'll see about trading a buddy when I get home.
I have recently brought it into Les Schwab, but want to bring it to a different local shop. Caster is a concern.
Hope that helps to help me. THANKS ALL!
