Front end of truck looks like it could be too light. Maybe measure the before and after front fender height. Using a body reference line in the pics, it looks like the front fender is 2-3 inches higher when WDH bars are engaged. Of course, best thing is going to a scale and getting all the weights. If not enough weight transferred back onto to steer axle, handling/sway can be a real problem and I am guessing this is the primary issue.
You really need to measure the tongue weight and fully loaded at the minimum. Maybe you can find a highway truck scale on the way home? That TT is on the heavy side for a 29 footer (our 29' is 7K lbs loaded). The TT axles seem to be farther back from the coupler compared to some other TTs. Tongue wt. could be up in the 15% range (ours is) giving 1400 lbs or more TW. I think the 1000 lb bars aren't enough. Even if you wind the 1000 lb bars really tight, you may not get enough wt. transferred up front. Maybe you even need to upgrade the OEM receiver?
