Well, I went out and took the hitch and repaired the broken weld, and the jack mount. Re-installed the hitch, and went for a ride.
Oh and to answer the last question: yes, it was 2 hours to remove the existing tanks, battery box, and old WDH. Then to install the HA. Then I found the broken weld.
With everything repaired my dad and I hooked it up, on the first shot! I had to tilt the head just right (southern Kentucky windage got it right). Here is a picture of the way the truck is sloped and twisted coming into the trailer. Not the ideal condition for a HA (from what I'm told).

We hooked up played around taking turns watching the magic of the hitch doing S turns back and forth through the field... then we went on a ride through town, then hit the highway after another check.
