That is one purdy rig you have there. You are going through the 'period of adjustment' all of us go through when changing trucks or campers, and this usually happens on the fly.
I would not be afraid to take a 4 month, fall/winter trip around the U.S. with that set up: Enough wallerin' room to go the distance in style. How's the roof clearance with those big rig clearance lights up top? Fords tend to have a more malleable frame than Dodge or GM making that clearance more crucial, especially with a big, heavy rig.
