My truck camper/RV experiences begin - Frame/Jack failure

Last summer we were at Lake Chelan and we took the TC off to go into town and we almost lost ours due to the same thing (front end rot)I was able to get it home and fix it better than it ever was. I used 2x2 cedar and 2x4 treated wood for the areas where the lag bolts go for the jacks. I also painted all of the wood with exterior house paint feeling it would help with moisture.
