Same situation, narrower street by 5' (old neighborhood) and probably 30" less OAL hitched. I had the luxury of sidewalk and a slightly wider driveway apron as it flares out from the driveway down the street. However, thanks to the genius of PSE&G and their solar project, they installed a solar panel on the utility pole immediately adjacent to my driveway. The installed height plus its overhang of the pole no longer allows we to ride the apron backing in as the panel would shave off my awning and worse! Further, backing in is my only way period. What Terryallan describes pretty much nails it! On exceptional days, I can do it in one fluid motion, but most trips require 3 adjustments of the TV to "thread the hole" perfectly.
