Nash/Artic Fox 25r Slideout adjustment

Thanks for the feedback. In my camper there is a wood carpeted lip on the front side of the slide. It sounds like that may need to be removed, which I suspected, but wanted first hand info before I started pulling interior trim off.

When your slide is all the way out, lift the carpet and look at the rollers (if it has them). They may have collapsed into the floor and will need to be re-installed in some modified manner. This will lift the slide back up the amount you want when it's retracted.
A friend had to do the same to his new 25P.

Arctic Fox TTs are covered by insulation and carpet also. The slide should be exposed and mine has 4 bolts holding it to the TT I can loose ea and then jack up the slide to the correct height. You would jack the outside 1/4 in and tighten outside bolts first then the inside ones. Make sure to re toruque to a torque spec table that shows the bolt head and diameter.

I have a Power Gear slide mechanism. For some reason the slide has sagged and rubs on the carpet when being put out or in. The solution, it seems to me, is to adjust the slide up or perhaps down.

The adjustment is on the skirt of the slide. There is a bolt that when loosened allows the bracket holding the slide mechanism to the skirt to move up or down. There are directions on the Power Gear web site.

I can see the adjustment when the slide is out and that is when it should be adjusted. Maybe you have insulation and a cover that covers the floor of the slide when it is out.

I found it is a power gear rack and pinion slide mechanism..
