I've been off this forum for quite some time due to work and just life in general. Still have the combo in my sig and still camping with the family and all that. Used to see nc hauler and ricatic on this forum. They were quite active. Anyone know what happened to them. Don't see any recent posts from them. Just curious. Thanks.

Thanks sorry to hear. He bought his truck around the same time I did and remember teasing him about keeping up with the neighbors when he traded it just a few yrs later and then again. Back 10yrs ago when I was active on here got to know a few well and actually have some really good friends that have kids the same age of ours we met here and live about 2hrs from us. Still friends today and go camping together.

Sorry to hear about NC. We chatted a couple times few years back as we were heading his way on vaykay. Unfortunately we didn't meet up cuz he went into hospital. RIP NC.

NC (Jim) and I became friends as he had a RAM Truck and bought a Mobile Suites that we had plenty of phone calls about. We had plans to meetup in TX some time but unfortunately never happened. Super nice guy!!!

Yes that was Ric.

He and I used to get into some very boisterous debates over his Ford and my Chevy.
That ended when Ford did him wrong. I took no pleasure in that, and posted as much on the forum. As much as these spirited debates are entertaining, I have always realized that we are all subject to the policies that these huge corporations can impose on us... It makes little difference as to which brand we favor, we can all be crushed like a bug at any time.

After that debacle, Ric and I became friends, even talking on the phone a few times. He ended up buying a used Chevy LBZ to replace his Ford. He is a good guy.
I haven't heard from him in quite a while. I hope he is doing well.
