Necessities for a new Travel Trailer

IMHO the MOST important 'must have" is a Progressive industries Electric Management system! I had a $50 surge protector our first season, then read all the hundreds of comments on Amazon about how amazing Progressives portable or installed units are to prevent BIG $ of damage to all your expensive electronics, AC and Fridge! I spent $269 on Amazon for a 30 amp portable and in it's first season of use, it saved our butts in 2 of the campgrounds in NY State Parks! One had very low voltage repeatedly and the other had over voltage periodically . The Progressive unit automatically shuts down your power when it can be too low or high and can cause damage as well as monitors and reacts to reverse grounds, open grounds, surges, etc!
