a definite "must have"!
you will get a flat tyre. get the stuff together to change it. the lug wrench and jack for the tow vehicle probably will NOT work.
my trailer requires two socket sizes, 13/16 for wheel nuts and 3/4 for the spare tyre holder. a 2 ft power bar(1/2 inch drive) and a short extension makes it easy. you may need a deep socket especially on the spare holder
I have dexter torsion axles and a bottle jack fits nicely under the swing arm next to the wheel and I only need to lift the wheel a 1/2 inch to change it but think about clearance when that tyre is flat
