Frank, are you sure about that? I've stayed in parks all up and down the coast, on the Columbia river, Redmond, Sisters, Bend, Coburg, Canyonville, Klamath Falls (and I'm sure a few others) and I've never been instructed to use a support. Currently, and every summer, we stay in Newport and again, no requirement here.:h
