Actually, I belong to that forum. In fact I posted about putting a shift kit in it and one of the moderators recommended a Revmax vb instead and said shift kits can be hit or miss. Revmax is coincidentally one of their vendors and in my search for info on that vb, that same moderators name always pops up with no real world towing info, he just says to get it.
Since I couldn't find much info on guys that actually tow with that vb, I came here to find what people have and are happy with since this is a towing only section. That is a great forum, but doesn't have a towing specific section. A lot of go-fast guys in there.
While I don't have any input for you, this is exactly how one goes about internet research! Good job on not jumping on the first thing you read! I'm sure you'll come across something for your application.
