I use a $20 app on my phone and a $20 wifi OBD2 dongle to measure my trans temp. Cheap and useful.
I think the app is dash command and it's 10$ and then you purchase an upgrade for the trans temp. I got the dongle off of ebay. Just put WIFI OBD 2 dongle and they will pull right up.
