Need advice on Ram 1500 5.7 to Ram 2500 6.4

What I am not liking is the lack of power in the wind and how truck feels man handled when big rigs pass me.
I don't really like 4.5k RPM for 3/4 minutes going up hill struggling to hold 60 MPH.
I have always had half ton trucks and pulled some ridiculous loads from time to time throughout my life.Lack of experience with 2500, 3500's leads me to wanting to get more information on the towing experience with them.
I just want to now if the 2500 6.4 is more "chill when towing" or white knuckle " hill ahead let me gain some speed""dam big rig passing me on narrow bridge" IE truck being sucked into it.
I want to set the cruise at speed limit and listen to the radio.
