Need advice on travel trailer and W/D hitches

The wife and I have looked at several small TTs and we think we may have found the right one for us. We are seasoned motorhome RVers, but we know very little about TTs. My experience in towing consists of pulling a toad behind a 40' DP and occasionally pulling a 19' runabout boat behind a SUV.

My tow vehicle will be a 2007 Jeep Commander 4X4 with the 5.7L Hemi engine. This vehicle has a 7,200 lb. towing capacity, 720 lb. tongue weight, and 1,290 lb. payload capacity. I have no idea what axle gear ratio the Jeep has.

We like the Forest River Flagstaff Micro Lite 21DS, which is identical to the Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S. The dry weight is 3,865 pounds and the tongue weight is 468 pounds. The only drawback I've seen so far in this TT is the modest 943 lb. CCC. However, this should not be a problem for us since this TT will be used for short trips and we will not be taking our entire house with us like we used to do when we went on 8,000 mile trips in our moho.

I must confess I'm a bit apprehensive about towing a TT, and I want to make sure that I do it in a safe manner and avoid white-knuckle experiences. I want to use a weight distribution system with built-in sway control that is easy to set up and that it will keep the TT from swaying when big rigs pass me by or by high winds.

Suggestions on the right W/D system for my TV/TT combo will be greatly appreciated, as well as any comments (positive or negative) about the TV/TT combination. I want to make sure that if I buy this TT I won't have to replace the Jeep with another TV.

Besides asking for two batteries, should I ask the dealer to throw something else in the deal? I noticed Group 24 deep batteries are standard in TTs. Should I ask for larger size batteries, and will they fit in the same spot as the 24s?

Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions.
