Okay, then a few things come to mind (if not already mentioned or already have).
What about something that will give him something to "play" with on an on-going basis like a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) along with a good digital pressure gauge. TST is one popular TPMS.
An electrical management system (EMS) that will monitor and protect your AC power system. Progressive Industries makes a very good one. I would get a hardwired one with the remote readout display. Not only will protect you, but will display your current draw so you won't overload your service.
A nice tablet/laptop PC (black Friday almost here) along with maybe Verizon 4G mifi or equivalent.
SensarPro TV signal finder.
Sodastream pop making machine. I have one and love it (I only use the diet flavors which taste better IMO anyway). Kids will love it too.
A good pressure regulator like a Watts H560 with a gauge.
BAL Lockarm stabilizer struts and/or aluminum stacker jacks (to reduce "bounce" when set up).
If it were me, before buying anything I would search on the internet for best pricing. There are a number of online parts vendors like MakariosRV, pplmotorhomes, Tweetys, RVupgradestore, dyersonline and maybe another half dozen or so popular ones. Prices can vary substantially so it pays to shop around online.
Thanks so much for all those great ideas!
