The typical ERS will tow you to a shop capable of fixing the problem. Every tow after that is on your nickel.

Old saying. Quality is remembered long after the price has been forgotten.

Will the other guy stand behind his work? How long of a warranty does he offer? Is he licensed and insured? Is he using new parts?

Some stuff I would ask about.
