Need Help Fast

Good Day ; Truck Broke down with camper on Need to have hauled , Does any body have a Lance 1997 8000 squire ? I need the out side height of camper alone floor to the top of air conditioner have to haul down Highway 100 plus miles under over passes .I am not on site to measure My truck sits on a 97 dodge dually I can let air out of tires should save 2inches will be hauling on a goos nekk trailer . I just need out side height . Thanks

  • You might be able to do it with a low boy trailer depending on the height . They can usually haul up to 12' , or as Bedlam suggested.

    OP needs the exterior height for bridge clearance not the interior height.

  • Creative thought, 100mi depending where it is, may not be that many under passes.
    It’s possible to google maps or google earth your route and see if it works to avoid the underpasses by using entrance / exit ramps or detours around bridges?
    Typically won’t have height issues with power lines crossing major roads. But arterial or side roads a different story.
    I’m thinking more along the lines of rural WI. If you’re in a city area then this maybe too much of a task.
  • Sorry to hear about your situation. I don’t have the exact height, but the height, on the truck is most certainly 11’ +. 12’ would be a conservative height.
    Unless you know the route 14-15’ total height on a trailer is sketchy.
    Sorry cant be more of a help.
  • Disconnect the drive shaft and hook it from the front. Even my Ford F250 with Arctic Fox 811 was too tall to trailer.
