As far as lavatory supply adapters are concerned, I suppose they might make some where the outer nut turns around the seat. On my camper, the lavatory supply adapters are one piece -- the barb is molded to the female threads, so the nut will not spin without the pipe needing to be twisted which would be impossible to do. The pipe must be cut.
Instead of doing what I told the OP to do, I cut the 1/2" lines and crimped on PEX straight stops and connected to my new faucet with standard lavatory supply lines.
